Christmas Is A Time For Love

Christmas is a time for love, a time for Joy and Peace;
A time to trim the Christmas tree and a time to stuff the geese.
It's a time when we can come together, however far or near
To shed a little hope into a world of sorrow and fear.

Yet Christmas can be all year round, if only we would try,
To gently wipe an old man's brow or sooth a baby's cry.
If we could smile throughout the year as we do on Christmas day
Just think what happiness we shed along life's weary way.

To give a gift of Hope to one who otherwise has none
To be a friend to somebody whom everyone else has shun.
To be forgiving of our faults, and of our sistrs and our brothers
To live in Peace and Harmony with ourselves and with each other.

Ah, Don't you see that Christmans is more than just opening gifts?
It's more than singing Christmas Carols and rolling in big snow drifts.
It's a feeling that can stay throughout each day, all year;
And all it takes is a loving Heart...and a sensitive little tear...

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!

To you El Muralla:

I've been reading your comments to this blog and I can only conclude that we're in the same page in regards to Bacon interest; to bring her back to her old glory.

You're not only a good poet but must be a singer as well.
We'd like to know you.

See you at Sandataan this Dec. 30 so we can discuss somethin' about our beloved Bacon. I think Cong. Escodero will be there and get some hints about this. (Not the senator...please!)

Okay El Muralla.
I'll see you at Sandataan. Look for me in the company of Jenny Latosa Morales.

What's up now, we're nearing the last month of the 1st quarter of the year. Has the famous Cong. Escudero shown interest in any discussions about Bacon during 2008 Sandataan?

I am also curious on how the much-awaited celebration went through. What were the constant topics in each table? Who danced well? What is the current foul gossip? Will it affect Bacon's re-development? Updates naman diyan, o.

First of all, I would like to CONGRATULATE the organizers of the Bacon Sandataan (MM) Christmas ball for the success of their annual Christmas/New Year gathering at the QC Sports Club.

Credits should be given to the tandem of Ms. Cherry L. Mendenilla & P/Insp. Senen Dollison, Ret. (President & Chairman of the Board respectively) for their unwavering preparation of the occassion.

The speech of our Honorable Congressman is again, a very inspiring one, together with the opening remarks of the incumbent president, Ms. Mendenilla.

Again, Pantomina is the main "show" of the night. The best ballerino & ballerina of the night? You guess....! No...not V V, he is just intoxicated with the liquor he drank! For me, Mr. Echano is the best, wala pa ring kupas! The Prima Ballerina I think is...hmm...I'll review again the video & tell you later.

But two VIP people are missing during the Pantomina dance whom I knew they are around somewhere in the ball room. Are they dancing with their own in a secluded place? Pareho kayang kaliwa ang mga paa nila kaya nahihiya? Or talagang maka-kaliwa kaya kumaliwa sila?

Do you think the inspiring speech will be followed by the corresponding action in order to lift Bacon and its residents? Or is it one of the standard speeches that are nice to hear but do not go anywhere and ends right at the podium? Hope not because many poor Bacongnons need a lot of help. So does Bacon's operational structures towards the betterment of Bacon as a whole.

To el Muralla:

I think those two VIP people you mentioned don't like to dance the Pantomina, they prefer "CHA-CHA".

The guy, who is a "well-knowned" engineer in Bacon, who danced with the president of Sandataan is also an expert of CHA-CHA.

According to my well-informed reporter, these three "honorable" persons of Sandataan have created a new FACTION in Sandataan. I don't know what their objectives are, but I have a feeling that these three are going to use the Sandataan this coming election...

They even have elected their new set of executive officers, with the Postmaster as their new President. (Really... the "Postman Always Rings Twice"!)

...and the engineer of this is the Engineer (is he?) from Feati;
...the financier (if he is really financially capable)is the former Banker from CB.
...the new name of the association: BaconG Sandataan Ass'(as in ass)n. Inc.(as in incomplete)

WARNING! Their elected Treasurer or even the entire officers are roaming around in Metro-Manila as well as in Bacon soliciting membership fee (Php)using temporary receipt (bought from sidewalk) and using the legitimate name of BACON SANDATAAN (MM), INC.

Bacon is in for dark, dark days. So many suggestion, so many perfect recommendations, so many covered ears, and too many little brains.
