Once Upon A Time - Unknown

Once upon a time in the kingdom of Heaven, God was missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the Archangel found him, resting on the seventh day.

He inquired of God, "Where have you been?"God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look, Michael. Look what I've made." Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?"."It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it. I'm going to call it EARTH and it's going to be a great place of balance.

""Balance?" inquired Michael, still confused God explained, pointing to different parts of earth. "For example, northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth, but cold and harsh while southern Europe is going to be poor but sunny and pleasant." "I have made some lands abundant in water and other lands parched deserts. This one will be extremely hot, while this one will be very cold and covered in ice.

"The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a group of islands and said, "What are those?" "Ah," said God. "That's the PHILIPPINES, the most glorious place on earth. There are beautiful beaches, rivers, mountains and forests. The people from the PHILIPPINES are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent and humorous and they are going to be found traveling the world. They will be extremely sociable, hardworking and high achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as carriers of peace and love."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed, "What about balance, God? You said there would be balance."God replied wisely, "Wait until you see the IDIOTS I put in the government !!!”

Both candidates from Sorsogon are in the winning top 12, so far. Analysts have expressed the opinion that one (Escudero) is a definite win while the second (Honasan)would most likely make it too. If you are that interested, there are two other Bicolanos who just might win as Senators also - they are Joker Arroyo who is from Camarines Sur and Lt.(s.g)Antonio Trillanes, who is from Albay.

Never got interested in Philippine politics.
It's NASTY, NASTY, NASTY!!!

Even some politicians looked NASTY!

How is it possible that there are more electoral votes than registered voters?
NASTY, NASTY, NASTY!!!

I'll get rid of my TFC if they continue showing this NASTY Philippine politics.

Glad that it's playoff season.

How come that the Philippines is cursed for generations with politicians, winners who eventually turns corrupt, celebrities who don't know anything about legislations, family member of dynasties who were notorious for corruptions, all politicians placed by the masses in the halls of power but all are running laughing to their bank.

There are no morals, ethics, and values when it comes to politics in the Philippines.

Families & friends fight among each other for a small favor, a small income, little recognition & maybe power.

Petty!

Do people ever wonder why the Filipino masses are getting poorer from one generation to the next, while dynasties are elected to office time after time and are ever so powerful nevermind if they fathers and forefathers were thrown out of office for corruption?
example? the marcoses, the estradas, macapagals, etc. see also the provincials and small town dynasties.
